After the Wheeler June 1 deal and rookie signings Miami is $10M under the cap. When we go to a 53 man roster, this may come down $1M depending on who is moved.

Next year we are $4.8M over based on a $150M cap, and with 45 players under contract. I think the cap will go up around $3M more, and Jordan will save us another $3M. That brings us back even with a ton of options to play with.

Good shape to make a deal this year if need be or, carry over the money to next year.

Good update Sobe! I like that we're gonna be in good shape next year

We'll be fine next year, we just won't have much room to manuever. No mega splashes like this year unless we are cutting/doing major restructures on Wake and Grimes . . . and even then we'll be tight.

We only have 45 players under contract next year but, that does not include the 2016 rookies, who will cost around $5M.

Our FA's who matter are Miller, Vernon, and dropping down in value Delmas, Moore, and Shelby. Cameron is a wild card, who is under contract for $9.5M eith a $7.5M savings if moved.

LB and CB should also be a projected concern but, ya never know who may step up this year.

As always, this year's play by the team and many players will dictate next year's off season moves. We will be able to "keep the band together" IF all goes well and IF we see the value. Gonna be very interesting to see how this plays out.

I'm not sure but doesn't that give us enough to sign another vet who was recently cut?

It does not take much to make a big signing, as the first year with signing bonus is cheap. Hell, the money we have left now would roughly pay for Suh and Tannehill both in their first year.

I think it's way to early to speculate who will be hear next year and who won't. Especially because of the coaching situation. If Philbin ****s the bed this season and the Fins hire a new coach all bets are off on who stays and who goes. It's the biggest variable in the entire situation.

I would hate to start over, I like Lazor but he hasn't proved himself yet. But if Thill is as good as I think he is he'll be fine going through another coaching change. It'll suck but he can do it.
