Salguero:Dolphins 100% not firing Sparano right now!

Maybe Ross understands that we are now playing for Luck and intends to keep it that way. If so, I support that. Let Sparano stay in and lead us to a winless season.
How sad is this...To even think we still have believers remaining that think this orgainization has ANY UNDERSTANDING of how to assemble and run a winning franchise!!! You can bring in whatever QB you wish and whatever Coach you want but if things don't change at the top, the same flipping things are gonna take place year after year after year..why is this so hard for people to realize? This whole c-r-a-p-slide started the day we brought that ex coach in from Dallas and started this whole Dallas-Dolphin transcontinental express line. Once that door was opened and all the ex this and thats started coming over, has beens and use to be's, the quality and heart of our team went right in the dumper. How did we try to fix it? Bring in Parcells (another ex-wiz) so he can bring in even more of his cronies to run this franchise right into the ground and as a parting gift we get left with one of his biggest failures/protege's to date. Haven't we learned anything by now? It's been almost 15 years now with this express line open and picking up someone else's cast off's or hand me downs is NOT HOW TO BUILD A WINNING TEAM!!!

Firing Tony means nothing if we keep Ireland. He has to take most of the blame for why we didn't upgrade the TEs, OL, QB, S, CB, and signed Bush. We didn't accomplish enough to help us win now during the offseason. We added a rook and Columbo on the OL and let Ricky and Ronnie go for Bush and a rook. We did nothing at TE and QB. It will be easy for Ross to fire Tony but I'm not so sure about Ireland.

I agree Ireland has been a terrible evaluator of talent. All the draft picks and free agents and we have a good running back, a pretty good center and a great left tackle. Their choice on the dl have not worked out. It has not been a strong part of our team. The defensive backs and safeties have been terrible. The linebackers can not cover a tight end. They have whiffed on multiple offensive lineman. Take away the number one pick they used with Long and Pouncey and they are abysmal at drafting OL. They really have done a terrible job in the draft. Long, Pouncey, Thomas and Vonte maybe Odrick but it is to soon to tell. That is all we have out of the draft. Free agency hasn't been much better. They did a fantastic job with undrafted free agents. Over all it's been terrible.

You guys know Luck won't be drafted by this team if available next year. They'll go for Ginn's step-brother who was a backup KR in college

I wouldn't be so sure......This is the only front office on the planet that can/will blow that pick if given the opportunity.
I sure as **** don't expect this front office to be around for the next draft or we all need to riot. Torches. Pitchforks.

What are you talking about? That response really doesn't fit my comment.

You wait until the bye week because it is a long period of time before the next game and allows the new guy to get comfortable in his new role as head coach. If you fire Sparano tomorrow, Nolan/Bowles/Daboll or whoever is named interim head coach only has 6 days to prepare his team. I would rather the new guy have two full weeks. That is why you make the move next week and not this week. Now, if he beats San Diego, you don't make a move. Not saying you don't eventually make a move, but you don't fire a coach after a win. You do it after likely the next loss. Timing is everything from a professional standpoint.

You can't decide to fire or keep a coach in this situation simply based on what happens in one game. If you objectively evaluate what has gone on in Miami over the last 3 seasons and off seasons you quickly realize that this regime should have been fired a long time ago anyway. It didn't matter what happened today, it doesn't matter what happens next week, you need to look at the whole picture. It's BLATANTLY obvious that this regime is wholly incapable of putting together a good product and winning on the field. To suggest otherwise at this point is flat out ignorance.
This season is now almost certainly a wash and any additional wasted time with this awful coaching staff and piss poor GM is dumb. There is nothing to"consider" this regime is a joke, it always has been, and it's seriously time that u start eating some crow for all that BS condesending nonsense about how I need to have faith in these dicks because by some miracle they found NFL jobs.

I don't care when they do it. all I know is I will neither attend nor watch another Dolphin game until there is a new head coach an QB on this team. Period.

Blessing in disguise fellas. The longer Sparano is around, the more we lose, the better our position in the draft is.
