Guys as you know the practices for the Shrine game are going on and Parcels & Ireland are present. Another name present is WR Brandon Marshall. Well armando salguero who has said he would be against Marshall to Miami is not saying a possible meeeting can happen between the Tuna & Brandon. Especially if Nolan puts in the good word for Marshall. Sorry no links im posting from my phone

I read it too. Mando has nothing to write about. I like how he speculates that Parcells would be tampering at this event.

Why would Marshall be at the Shrine game? If not for business? UCF maybe? Or maybe he is getting his SB tickets delivered?

I expect Marshall to land here anyway, we need to make a splash and we will.

Marshall is a head case but is also the best available WR out there next to Jackson. tall, ELITE, and young but which way they go is BEYOND me.

this is the only player out there that i honestly believe can make us go from an average team to a playoff team. this man has talent beyond belief. he has top 5 talent easy and yes i know he is a headcase. i understand that but maybe a change of scenery could help. i would take a chance on this kid no matter what the price. oh and please realize that i believe defense is our main problem but recievers like this dont come along very often.

We're not average, we're a solid team. So Nolan as our DC and getting BM alone makes the team already great.

Marshall is a headcase but BP has an afinity toward problem guys and he knows how to handle them. I also think that a change of scenery and an exodus from all the negative press in Denver can be a big catalyst to wake this kid up and make him realize his true potential (which is off the charts!!!)
I really think if he does come here you'll see a different Marshall, same arrogance (as that is needed to a point) but different behavior and demeanor all around.
If he does end up here, coupled with a nice off-season for Henne (should he work his butt off and study, study, study film) we really could see this team making a deep run sooner than later...just in my opinion, we need to really go defense this draft ILB, OLB and safety with our first day picks...

Also, I think with Marshall here, you'd see Ted Ginn and Devon Bess have better years b/c they will be able to exploit coverages better when defenses are gearing coverage more toward Marshall...(god i hope this isn't a pipe-dream right now... :) )

Signing Nolan will be a much bigger deal than bringing in Marshall. He took a team that didn't have the necessary pieces to run a 3-4, and made them a top-10 D. We have most of the pieces, and we'll add some. In terms of talent, we should have been a better D than Denver last season.

Marshall, though, would be a huge upgrade. I think our locker room is strong enough to deal with his character issues. So, we'll see.

If we do sign Nolan - as it looks like we will - mark it down: We win the AFC East.

ok solid sometimes but we have played pretty crappy and looked very bad at times this year. with this team we are not going to the super bowl. the addition of mike nolan helps now go get marshall.

he's not saying a possible something might not couldn't happen... in other words hackmando sees a bunch of helmets and figures they must be football players.

nolan bigger than marshall? have you watches this kid play? i understand we brings great schemes and is going to help the defense out but marshall is a talent that you dont see very often. heck he had more catches in one game than most of our recievers haha.

Speculation is worthless waste of time.

We have serious issues in pass defense. I would not mind moving up and getting Haden or Berry.
In addition, if we get Marshall, we still need a stud ILB and a TE imo.
