Salgueros Off-Season Outline do you agree?

No one is trading for Suh due to his huge contract. No one is trading for overpaid mediocre or passed their prime players such as Alonso, Branch or Timmons. No one is trading for a slow as molasses overpaid TE who can't block like Thomas. Pure fantasy land if anyone thinks the Dolphins are going to be able to move any of those players.

Most likely Thomas and Timmons are cut. The Dolphins are stuck with Alonso, Branch and Suh. Only one of those guys is an above average starter.

I don't take a QB that early. Ride with RT in 2018, ride or die really. If there's a prospect they like in later rounds go for it.

Don't neglect DE. We need someone to start opposite Harris (and to hope he's good) we can't roll Wake out there at 36 and expect significant snaps again next year and Branch is a JAG.

Kinda insane at this point to take a Qb that high. If the Dolphins are going to draft a QB with their 1st round pick then how do you justify not starting him right away? If anything the trend seems to be fill the team with talent everywhere so that when you do draft a QB it's easier to make him successful right away.

However, if you're standing their with your 1st round pick and you think you have a Qb prospect that can genuinely challenge Tannehill then draft him and trade Tannehill. Whom will easily get you at minimum a 3rd round pick.

I think you can draft and develop a guy - even if a 1st rounder. There is so much pressure to play them right away but w our QB situation there would be no rush. I think Tannehills best years are ahead though the window is getting smaller - eg 3-5 years. Hard to believe he’ll be 30 - doesn’t seem like he’s been here THAT long.

These Qbs seem to be more pro-ready right out of the gate. If the Dolphins are going to draft one that high then I think they should save themselves the drama and trade Tannehill.

The draft guys here can state which prospects are best but the Lamar kid scares the hell out of me. I don't see his style of play translating long term in the NFL. He seems to be another Robert Griffith waiting to happen.

None of that seems too drastic, imo. I would be cutting Thomas and Timmons the first day, they both save good money instantly. A QB in the first or second round would be smart if a situation presents itself. I think Tannehill will be back and the ACL won't be an issue but getting someone better than Moore (at least) would be nice. Parting ways with James and even Pouncey isn't that far-fetched considering their play and how much you save. I don't think you'll find trade partners for Suh, Kiko, and Branch though, restructuring them is probably the best you can hope for.

I agree w this. Timmons looked good for a few games and then kinda went AWOL for the rest of the season.

It will cost us more money to cut or trade such than to keep him, and he has no reason whatsoever to take a pay cut so none of that is happening. Gase loves Tannehill, so no chance they take a QB that high unless Ryan's knee blows up again before the draft. Gase and company will be in win now mode and banking on their QB to get them there with some improved players elsewhere. I'm not saying that's what will happen, but that sure seems to be what Gase thinks.

I keep hearing this back to back injury it was the same injury that was never repaired. And if Gase was thinking of taking a QB in the 1st round. He would of just played Matt Moore the hole season.if you think there is a QB that is highest rated player by a lot. Then they might pull the trigger, and see what happens next year.

For Gase at this point it's not about love but pure business. Tannehill, unfortunately, is a medical risk and as a coach you can't take that chance without some firm insurance plan in place.
