"Mike Mularkey's play-calling was questionable. After early success running the ball, why go away from it? When you look back on the season, he abandoned the run too often."

"Chris Chambers, who also dropped a pass, was held without a catch. Both of Harrington's interceptions were intended for Chambers. Have you ever seen a No. 1 receiver be so out of sync with his quarterback?"

I think these two points have affected more than one game this season.

Chris Chambers is NOT a #1 reciever. Period. End of story. He just doesn't do the things #1's do. He doesn't find ways to get open. He drops entirely too many passes. He's not a play-maker. He has the ability to make plays, but doesn't make them nearly enough. Chad Johnson is a #1. Steve Smith is a #1. Torry Holt is a #1. Chris Chambers is not. That's totally fair to say now.

You don't think it mostly has to do with QB play? Only 1 receiver had catches today, and that was Welker...I can't ever remember having a team in which the only receptions were made by the slot guys (te & 3rd WR). Harrington couldn't get it done a missed a lot today. Don't hang our offensive woes on Chris.

It's often too easy to blame the QB because people don't realize when the receivers run routes incorrectly, etc.

The offensive woes aren't Chamber's fault. But he deserves blame, as does the QB, O-Line, coordinator and head coach.

They need people that can scare teams.

No. The problem is CC. He drops too many critical passes. The fact is, that both he and McMichael are vastly over rated primarily due to inconsistency. They cannot be counted on game to game.

Er, uh... yes he does play the #1 receiver spot for the Phins. He just doesn't resemble a #1 so far this season. It's amazing how last season when the QB got him the ball he was a Pro bowler. I am not a card acrrying member of the CC fanclub but I can recognize that this is not all of his fault.

how many times do you think your going to run the ball when you have a qb that has thrown for 20 yard. that is sick. you might as well bring everyone up to the line of scrimmage. we need a franchise qb bad. harrington can't throw the ball past 20 yards. period...

The reason CC stinks because he is not aggressive going to the ball. He lets the ball come to him instead of being aggressive and going after it. Thats why defenders are always jumping in front of him picking the ball up. Hes got to go.

Yeah yeah yeah...all this CC is not a #1 receiver is garbage. He's open downfield more often that not, but we can't hit him deep. We have a QB with one of the lowest YPA's in the league.

hey guys i didnt get the game today.or hear it on the radio.where did joey throw his picks today?where they to the outside,or sideline.where mm calls most of his plays.where the bills covering the outside, and leaving the middle open.thanks bert.

Well pick#1 went Clements and pick#2 went to Ellison:D

I say Chambers was never the same after Kenoy Kennedy decapitated him.

He's an amazing athlete but simply doesn't come down with enough of the balls that are thrown at him. It's time for the Dolphins to replace him in the offense.

were any of you surprised (ok maybe not) at the number of drops by McMike? Unbelievable.

i got that part ,but where on the field did he throw them?the bills know where mm like's to throw.i have said he is pretty easy to game plan for.so i'm wondering if the bills covered the outside-all the sideline stuff.outs-flares-straight take offs.how many posts did we throw today.thanks bert.

lol everyone sees CC's drops but ignores Steve Smiths drop or two per game..... are you all blind ? they all drop passes.... Sure i saw the ESPN highlights too LOL.... but watch them play.
How soon people forget that with a half decent offense this guy is a pro-bowl player...... so feeble and ignorant it all seems to rip on him when the QB can barely complete passes, especially difficult ones... and the running game is average at best.
