Just watched Sean Salibury on ESPNEWS defending Linehan and Chambers. He said that on the last four downs of the last Dolphin Drive, Frerotte threw the ball too short, then too long, and on fourth down didn't have his feet correctly placed. "Gus would like to have a few of those back," said the ESPN football expert. He agreed with Linehan's calls since we had Chambers twice one-on-one with some 2nd string Patsie scrub.

I dunno. Whatcha think?

Linehan and Howard are too blame for the entire game. Gus and Chambers are to blame for parts of the game

The first three throws are on Gus and horrible play calling...

the last play is on Chambers...you have to make that catch.

Frerotte should not be blamed. He played a great game.

Great?

He played better than he has most of the season, but he did make costly turnovers. And when Linehan foolishly put the game in his hands, he couldn't make 5 yards.

Gus did not drop gimme catches today.....Salisbury needs to shut up as he is the most ignorant football analyst around. :yell:

Any time you lose, their is blame to go around simply because you lost. I don't think Gus was the reason we lost. Its hard to blame one indivdual but there were a few that contributed. I really thought the game was lost, believe it or not, in the first half. After the missed field goal and McMike fumble, I felt like those opps were badly missed and would ultimately cost us the game.

You just cant let good opportunities like that slip away when you're playing a good team that KNOWS how to win. We're not quite there yet. We've lost some heartbreakers, partially because of execution and partially because we simply don't know how to make a big play or finish a game (see @Buffalo, Atlanta and NE endings.) We'll get there, may not be this year, but we're gonna get there.

He turned it over once. And IIRC, it was a tipped pass. The last pass should have been caught for a TD by Chambers. Hit him in the gut.

It's tough to knock Frerotte much this week.

Yet whenever AJ threw a pick that was tipped, you say that it was AJ's fault b/c he didn't have pocket presence and should have never thrown it in the direction of the lineman! Yeah, keep talking Gusketeer, or, should I call you, Guskequ**r!

Mod Edit: Take a few days off to read the TOS. You can't attack anyone, let alone an admin.

I refuse to place blame on one perosn, I can easily name 10 people who could just as easily be blamed. It's a team game.

I blame myself. I should have been at the game today cheering for my team.

Not sure who this is directed towards, but it's completely uncalled for. Show a little class man, we're all rooting for the same team. :shakeno:

And since Gusketeers showed no class to AJ, or me, for that matter, I shall reciprocate the hatred.
