Got to love this guy, smart, humble, loves football, thankful for where he is. This seems to be the theme of Flo's team and is so refreshing. It is also why I believe this team will be contenders for many years. It has been a long time dolphin fans, however I think we are perpetual contenders as long as Flores is our coach.

I think he was a great addition to the team last year and while he isn’t that bruising RB some posters crave. He is the type of RB who can break off some long runs IF the OL can actually open some holes in the running game.

I make a thread about Ahmed and Hollins last year and another one this year. Last week a thread about Hollins his own thread mind you now Ahmed gets his own personal thread. Now I’m starting to see why people get disgusted a little bit when people put threads out there about the same stuff over and over again.

it’s so funny that people are recognizing the things that I saw last year about both of those players glad you’re finally realizing it good job.

People were saying that Hollins was nothing but a #6 WR Just a depth player Or a practice squad player obviously is more than that he was named captain. I don’t know smh

for those that don’t know the captains are named by player votes funny how Tua didn’t get voted for captain

lol, It was not just about Ahmed but more about Flo team climate. Good grief.

He is also bigger then I thought and has great hands. Hopefully he continues to develop into a great feature back.

Hollins is the best trash talker on the team his hands are average but he is big and plays with heart and conviction

This ain’t high school no one cares who the captain is esp when Jesse David is named the second one and McCourty who wasn’t even a Dolphin last year is Captain of the D

Some dude with Jam in his name is the ST captain

Do you see a pattern

Ahmed is one of the offensive players I'm most excited about seeing. He's is not a big guy but he is explosive, and I'm interested to see how he has honed his game after a real offseason with the team. He was our best pure runner last year even though he at times made some bad reads while Gaskin was more consistent in that area.

I don't remember Ricky in the passing game.

I remember one wheel route for about 40 yards and a TD but that's really the only one.

I remember Ronnie as a better pass catcher or even the 3rd back who name escapes me

Ahmed suffered from the same thing that Gaskin suffered from, and that is a lack of run blocking. The line has shifted, and we are going to see more inside running due to the fact that Hunt is in the inside now. Our pre-season games were a precursor to what there is to come. If anything, we didn't look good in any of our pre-season games in the past few years when it came time for our running game. And it was more of a predictive factor when I saw our line in action. I posted a video of my own break down in slow motion for Hunt two weeks ago. He is def very dominant up there, and making it to the pro bowl is a possibility this season.

Patrick Cobbs was a really good component in the passing game, that might be the third. Also pretty much the thing that made the Wildcat 2.0 work, since we never ran it again after he got lost for the season. I don't really think of Ricky as a pass catcher, he was big and fast but that guy was not one with the body fludity to make adjustments to a ball in the air.
