Sam Baker ?

Does anyone know anything about him ? Last year he seemed to be rated all world tackle and now he seems to have dropped off the radar. Is he worth a second round pick?

He came back and had a solid senior year, but his arms are pretty small and so is he frankly. He is more suited for a zone blocking scheme and probably will have to move to guard in the NFL. He still will be a late first-early second round pick, but he has dropped a lot because there is a lot of OT depth in this years class.

Nah, Baker can play LT in the pros. His problem is that he's a finesse player, so he'll be a good pass blocker but he's never going to be the smashmouth run blocker that Parcells and Ireland are looking for. He may drop into the 2nd round, but he's definitely a 1st round talent.

i not fond of him. i love intense beasts that are massive and have a great initial punch. i jsut dont see him with any of that. he's jsut kind of there, ooze blocking into people. i dont believe he is overly strong either.

if Parcells and Sparano can get Gosder Cherilus in the draft, get under his skin and get him aggressive... oh baby!!!
