Sam Cowart an FA, do we bring him in??

Sam Cowart played pretty well, not the best but not the worst. He would be a sure upgrade over Mike Labinjo, or even Keith Newman IMO.

Pass, our defensive schemes are too complicated for him to make any significant contribution for at least 5-6 games. In Saban & Capers' defense, its the scheme, not the individuals, that matter most. Granted the individuals have to make the scheme work but our defense is very TEAM oriented.

I like Cowart, and adding him would be a big upgrade to our LB core IMO, i say we take a look at him
