Sorry if this has already been posted but Sam Madison has been cut by the Giants. He is definately older and broke his ankle in the final regular season game. What are the chances that he will call it a career and sign with the Dolphins? (To retire as a fin of course.)

Isn't age our biggest concern in the secondary??

No thanks.

Love SM, but...just...no. We need depth and youth, and I don't know if Madison can bring either because it seems he is having a string of injuries recently.

probably not going to happen, even if just to retire a phin.

he and surtain sure were good together though. wish we could find a tandem like that again.

I was posing this question asking if he would sign with us to retire as a dolphin. Not to play here, but sign one of those one day contracts to retire as a member of the team that they spent the most time with. I know he is pretty much washed up, but I have seen some players sign a one day deal to retire with the team that they loved.

Ohh, that changes a lot then. I'd like to sign him for him to retire with us then, same with ZT.

and JT.

To me, though I appreciate all JT did, and, I defended him to the last day.....I wouldn't. He seemed to really want to be anywhere but the Miami Dolphins...Danceing, talking to Hollywood agents, whatever..anything but playing ball with the Miami Dolphins.

I don't blame him, and, don't begrudge him his choice, but, with choices come responsibilities and consequences. One of those to me is that he can go celebrate his retirement starring in some HBO productions straight to video moive.

Sam, I'd love to do a one day sign/retire for.

A one day retirement contract? Sure, why not?
