Sam is one of the best we have ever had. But he has had some bad games this year but who hasen't on our D. In my eyes he is still worth keeping.

i think madison can be a good #2. but for what he's making? no way. they might ask him to restructure, but everyone knows with madison's "business" approach, that ain't gonna happen. i would imagine they will try to trade him first, and shoot for a 4th round pick. given his contract, however, we might be forced to flat out release him.

Sam might not have an INT in 36 games but how many times in those 36 games has a reciver just gone crazy on him. When surtain was here he looked bad casue surtain was just so amazing and now he is playing good granted he makes mistakes but still a great corner

walt752 this is a much debabtad subject as you will find. I have been saying for some time that he has lost a step (which he has admited) and will continue to decline. For now he is the best cover corner we have but he cant tackle and that is somthing Saban just will not stand for from his corners. I actually think he might still be a fairly decent nuber 2 corner for a team that dosnt put so much pressure on there corners to make tackles but he just isnt a good fit for our D. My guess is that he will be moved this offseason. I actually read a statment by Sam that he knows he might not be back here next year.
