Sam Madison released by the Giants

although many of us want to see him back in Miami I don't think he will be signed by us.. He will be 35 when the season starts and fractured his ankle in week 17.. Hopefully he will find a spot elsewhere.

Its a shame. He and Surtain are going to go out as backups in the league. Corners and safeties rarely stay on top of their game at that age.

yeah it is. madison will probably go down as my second favorite dolphin ever behind ole' dan the man. but we did let them go at the right time - both those guys relied on their recovery speed b/c they were qb watchers - and that speed just wasn't there anymore. at least sam got a ring. poor pat has been stuck in purgatory for the past few years.

Most likely the end to a great player I loved to watch when he was with us, but I was glad to see him get his ring over the imperfect patsies.
