Sam got a penalty....one of those cheap...defensive holding....5 yards..automatic 1st down....and then proceeded to make the next 2 tackles...1 for a loss...and play inspired ball the rest of the game. In fact...Sam has...turned back the clock....if you will...and has played some pretty darn good football last 3 weeks. Sam knows that Saban expects a full rounded CB on this team...which includes tackles...and I think Sam is taking notice....and stepping up his game.

Sam's a good corner. Not as good as he once was, but still the best on our team. We just need someone to man the other half of the field.

He did get bailed out on one play when Crowder had to come in and clean up a missed tackle.

Sam will be here next season and finish his career here

when I look at travis daniels I see a younger sam

Not the fastest guy on the field, but the kid can play, we are set at corner for years to come, especially with Pool coming back next year

He really has been stepping it up. I think it all stems from that Browns game and the DLINE calling someone out. I think it was Sam's wakeup call.

Is funny but all this time we've been thinking that Sam can't tackle on run support...now I can see that he can...he just doesn't like to

Ozzy rules!!

Well I like Sam but I saw one play around the 8:50 mark in the third quarter that was
not what you would expect for a seasoned pro...

He jumped out of the way of a charger who was coming towards him.. I believe it was crowder who had to make the tackle... really it looked like he was afraid to make the tackle.

he saved a TD near the goaline

Sam misses and LT is in for 6

although I believe they went on to score next play

Took Sam a while to figure out Sabans system after playing press coverage for ages so now he is becoming comfortable, expect him to be a force to be reckoned with for a few more years.
Earlier in the season Sam wore the defensive plays on a arm band, I don't remember seeing it there recently, so that may be a sign of his progression in the new system.

And he thanked Crowder for it too. U see Madison say somethin, then 'Rookie' Crowder nodding his head sayin somethin like "I got you buddy". I love it!

Yeah I remember that play I guess he wanted Crowder's stats to grow...But He made some great tackles yesterday especially the LT tackle for a loss.

I love the way Mad dog plays....hard. I really feel that him and JT fire that D up with their talking and playing. If you watch carefully, Madison is constantly jawing at the opposing players, hes hilarious. The guy can flat out play, thats the bottomline.

I've always liked Madison, and never understood all the criticizm he's recieved from fans
