This guy does all the little things right for us. He picks up big 3rd downs he picks up the blitz. He plays great special teams I think he is an underated player. Please don't misunderstand me I don't think he should start. I think Nick Saban has given him a role on this team and he plays it really well.
 
I'm with you on that. Sammy is a good change of pace runner for Ronnie and a fine blocker...but, whew, I can't wait until Ricky is back on the field - I think we'll see a lot less of Sammy then.

I agree. Sammy Morris is a valuable player for us. He seems to be very unselfish and he's good all around.

I think that is the beauty of Saban's system...like BBs...everyone has their role and everyone is expected to do their part. Zgonina, Daniels, Morris, Tillman (had several STs tackles)...all part of the whole...
