San Diego Fin Fans, Question for you

Hello out there in Finheaven. I am an Austin Texas Dolphin fan, planning on going to the Chargers v. Dolphins game in December. I would like any recommendations to a Hotel/Suite close in proximity to QualComm Stadium. Also, if it were close to the "downtown" strip that would be sweet too. I have never been to SD so I dont know if the trendy hip place to go to bars is anywhere near the stadium or not.

Any help would be MUCH appresiated!

Hotels???? As for dowtown try the Gaslight District, it's a great place near Petco Park.
 
Crap, QualCommis the Padres stadium huh?


Gaslight, is that name of the strip with the bars/clubs etc?

Yeah its real nice, as for the hotels I remember staying at a Marriott near the stadium a few years back. It was fairly pricey, but worth it.

EDIT: Qualcomm used to be, Petco Park is now and it's a great venue.

He is right The Gaslamp District is the ticket. As far as Hotels go, LT21 might know better then me. Hotel Circle by Qualcomm, or Mission Valley. Here is the Marriott in Gaslamp. 660 K Street SD 619-696-0234. Mission Valley Marriott 8757 Rio San Diego Dr. SD 619-692-380. Hope it helps.:)

Yeah thats the one I stayed at, it was very nice.

I believe they have the trolley that goes from the stadium to or close to the Gas lamp. You may want to check that out if you don't rent a car bro.

Make sure you get your tickets as soon as possible. I think they will be hard to come by.
 
If you want some place close to the stadium, check out Hotel Circle. Hotel Circle is a loop of hotels right off of I-8 within a few miles of the stadium. Seau's is close by also.
