We've had a couple years of QBs being dangled at us, the last proven one being Drew Brees (cough, cough).

As it is now, who would you guys rather have (and develop) at starting QB for the Fins?

1: Brady Quinn
2: Mark Sanchez
3: Chad Henne
4: Pat White

Wild Card: A Healthy Culpepper

Bored at work...

I say I like Chad Henne, but that's only cause I hate Sanchez, and Quinn, and like pure passers better than cunningham, vick types. Who do you like?

Really, we know nothing about any of these QB's, at the NFL level that is, they all were successful college level QB's, but none of them were at the top of the draft as sure fire must have's... therefore any of them would be good for development, and in our situation, we have 2 of the 4 you've name, so it's pretty much a moot point..

Good point... I was really looking more for speculation based on info we have about these guys.... I saw Pat White in college, and in that system, he was awesome. Michigan never did much, but was Henne good? I think so, not sure.

What do you guys know about Sanchez? Will he turn the Jets around?

Anybody still want Quinn over Ginn?

Henne, Young QB developed by our organization. Could be a great QB for years to come.

odd group of choices i don't understand but ok.... i'd have to choose the only one who's proven he can play in the nfl, a 'healthy culpepper'. then henne, then quinn, then flip a coin.

I thought Brady Quinn was way overrated when he came out of college...but was totally shocked when we passed on him. I think right now, Henne has the most promise. White and Sanchez are total wildcards...especially White.

My biased opinion points to Henne. As a Wolverine fan I am exctied to have Long and Henne together. I thought Henne was good at Michigan, and I feel like he can really develop into something special here. He is very smart and a student of the game. Also its not so bad to have a leader like Pennington showing him the ropes and he transitions in. The only thing that worries me about Henne is that the expectations from the fans are very high and that he may not live up to the hype right away. I really like White's speed but I don't see him being the pure passing QB we need him to be. I think he can be an asset in certain situations and formations, but I don't think he will ever be our #1 guy.

2004 Culpepper was a runner-up MVP of the league QB but it's tough to know how he would've done without Moss and if hypothetically healthy.

That aside, on the young guys, we have to wait and see...

None of the 4 listed have proven a single thing. Two haven't played in a single NFL game and the other two have been riding the pine waiting. So I'd hate to make a guess based on insufficient information. Any four of these guys probably would make at least a decent NFL QB in the right team and setup.

henne-four year starter for Meeeeeechigan. tough minded and all business. No Hollywood here.

I would take Sanchez, Henne or Quinn as my future starter White Never
