Check this out - if you eliminate the kickers who have only played a game etc, Sanders is now tied for 21st out of 32nd in %age made at 84%. Remember, as of the Jets game he was last in the league down about 70% - which was close to what he did last year. May he keep making his kicks.

To go from last to 21st, he has to be 15th or better the last few games
 
There is a lot of things that goes into a successful kick other than just the kicker. The snap must be fast and accurate, the holder has to get it down perfect, the blocking must be perfect and all the fan base (dolphins nation) must all have their fingers crossed at the same time. Yes the problem might be YOU !!!! Be honest, who forgot to cross their fingers ??
 
Sanders if fools gold if you trust him going forward.
 
Nobody will or should be getting rid of him, but those early misses got him competition next year.

A team can't afford for a player to take time to concentrate enough to be counted on consistently.

I am still rooting for him to get back to the player he was a few years ago, but he will need prove himself.

It was actually after the Vikings game that he was at 70% (7 of 10). Since that time hdd we is 14 of 15 (93%. That said, only one of those kicks have come from 50+.
 
He's the most accurate kicker we've ever had. That may change again tomorrow.
