Wow Johan is unhappy... What's the bet on where he ends up after 08 (when his contract is up)??? A lot of teams are going to throw the bank at this guy!

I dunno why I thought yoou where talking of Carlos Santana and the Olsen Twins

Come on down.........

If he's that upset with them I'd expect them to try and trade him to get some value before he just leaves.

Well it seems he will more than likely be going to a big market club...One of the NY or LA teams probably...I would take him in blue in a heart beat, but don't know how much more money they want to put in the rotation...

Hed fit perfectly in orange and blue. 08 rotation: Johan, Pedro, Maine, Ollie Perez, Duque
Retired: Glavine

Oh baby! :)

I would rather it be Penny, Johan, Lowe, Schmidt, Wolf or Billingsley...OH BABY!!!
Wolf or Billingsly? Are you serious? One is 7-1 and the other has a 4.25ish era and a prolonged Dl stint. Besides you need a middle of the order bat. Carlos Zambrano hits for more power then half your lineup

Right, but I would feel better with 2 lefties in the lineup. And Chad is still young, he has time to be in the rotation, plus he is also stellar out of the bullpen...The bat thing is true, but with that rotation, we wouldn't really need a power bat. Plus, just cause we don't have home run hitters, doesn't mean we cant score runs...We are near the top of the league in avg, obp, hits, sb, and in the top 7 in runs scored...

It's gonna be a Mets vs Yanks bidding war. The mets can offer more latin players on the team and all of that stuff that Omar sells. Yanks will just offer more $$$$$$$$$$. Period.

I would be careful though, he will start declining soon so.....

So trade lowe for a lefty but please for the love of god billingsly is a top pitching prospect you cant baby a guy who is showing he is ready to be a #2 on most staffs. Wolf is nothing special that you hold a guy like Billingsly back for.

And as for the offense...I know then can score runs in LA but its station to station baseball. Maybe Loney is the middle of the order bat ya'll need or maybe its kemp but the window of opportunity isnt large and if you wait too long it'll disappear. Signing a Torii Hunter or an Andruw Jones would make you guys deadly. Just imo. :beer1:

The Dodgers will be able to offer a bunch of money too, in fact I think they will sign either Arod, Johan, or Zambrano...

We've got Kent, Gonzo, Tomko, Hernandez and probably Wolf coming off the books...Thats 32 million...
