is showing up doubtful for the game this Sunday. Sorry if this was posted already.

Raiders DT Sapp doubtful Dolphins game

NFL.com wire reports
ALAMEDA, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2005) -- Warren Sapp is listed as doubtful to play for the Oakland Raiders in a Nov. 27 game against Miami because of a shoulder injury.

Sapp was injured Nov. 20 during the Raiders' 16-13 victory at Washington, but he isn't sure when he got hurt. He had an MRI exam, though results weren't immediately available.

"He continued to have soreness in the shoulder," coach Norv Turner said after practice. "We'll just see where he's at. Hopefully by the end of the week he'll be ready to go. He didn't think much of it after the game and on Monday he didn't think much. It just hasn't settled down."

The veteran defensive tackle, who has been upbeat in the locker room this year, has made huge strides with the Raiders this season after struggling in his first season with the team

I say we pick this sapp up and see how he does at fullback!:D

Sapp gets constant push. dispite everyones hate on sapp, he disrupts everything and gets pressure on the QB when one on one

I don't hate Sapp... But I think he hasn't been dominating as he once was.

he has had 29 tackels this year, 5 sacks and 3 assist as per NFL.com not great but I think they are back playing a more 4-3 dfense ( i could be wrong) which is allowing sapp more of an opportunity to sack the QB. I agree he is not what he used to be but with our oline playing ok this year, it may allow for someone like Sapp to have a breakout game. I think with the addition of Ted Washington it has really allowed sapp to get free and attack the QB.

Our Oline is constantly getting better. The false starts have slowed down by a ton. They haven't allowed a whole lotta sacks neither, and I keep seeing that the line is rated pretty high in the NFL. Having Sapp out this game tho is still a good thing for us no matter how you slice it. Next on my please be out Sunday list: Randy Moss... I fear what he's gonna do to Madison and CO.

The matchup to look out for is D.Burgess vs. your RT. Moss is maybe 75% and hasn't really been much of a factor since his groin injury.

I'd completely agree. Gotta run Ronnie hard at him...
