The funny thing is I saw some threads about benching after TWO GAMES after having a great rookie season last year!.

Yup, he sure did. He single handeldy mandhandled Wilfork. They were talking about that over at the Pats message board LoL. They were talking about how Wilfork and Seymour may be overrated. LMAO!

just about to say the same thing. the bad thing about us losing is that we get down on all our better players and start saying things like bench him or cut him! i have always loved satele and see him being the anchor to our oline! hes a beast! 1 bad game is nothing! every1 has bad games!

While you and I share common grounds as Dolphins fans I must inform you that on the collegiate level we are enemies. The Bulldogs will expose the gators for what they really are.....tadpoles. Enjoy the top 10 while you can.

Ewwww I hate the gators.

I think Satele's poor performance in the first two games was more of an indictment on the O-line as a collective, their youth, and the short amount of time they've had to gel. Having said that, Samson played a great game. It's no small feat to not only hold his own, but flat out, outplay the man-mountain Vince Wilfork.

Maybe the Pats should have "studied" more of those home made videos.

as for Samson, WAY TO GO, BUDDY! WOOH

If Satele plays even remotely as well for the rest of the season no one should have a reason to question to the Welker trade. I would take a solid C in place of a good WR any day!

Well as bad as Satele sucked the first two games, he played that good yesterday. Hopefully he's over the hump and ready to become a dominant center in the NFL.

i've seen those posts also ... i kept my mouth shut but all along i believed it wasn't a question of lacking effort or talent, rather communication and assignments

our oline was on the spot against new england, i haven't rewatched the game yet but watching it live, it seemed like no New England defender was left unblocked on most plays, and that's the key to be successful up front, great push and great communication

BTW, anyone noticed how jake long manhandled Richard Seymour ?

it wasn't pretty, i don't know what he ate for breakfast but he supermaned that ho !

That being said, Jake was beaten badly a few times and only Penningtons ability to scramble and get out of the way saved some sacks.

The play that Pennington scrambled and threw to Wilford wasn't Long's fault. The tackle went outside and Smiley picked him up and the end ran around them and Jake gout picked by them.
