Hey fellas,
Iwent to the saturday afternoon practice and there are some positive things that I saw.
- Saban is a great coach for one. Never lets his players walk to the next drill or to get back in line.
- feely and ferrotte are neck and neck, with gus knowing quicker where to throw the ball.
-ronnie looks awesome , BUT he is not as quick to the hole as ricky.
-receivers looked awesome, josh davis will make this team(at least the practice squad)
-o-line is like night and day from last year.
-d-line is nasty
-travis daniels WILL start at cornerback if we dont get law.
-Sam Madison teaching and taking Daniels under his wings (just like he did with surtain)
-Channing Crowder should start soon, he's gonna be a great one in the future.
-Roth is much bigger than i expected him to be, gets off the ball quick
-the 3-4 scheme is awesome with taylor and bowens playing lbs
-J.T. is gonna have a great year with the 3-4 front
-Lamar Gordon looks healthy and quick
-Kay Jay should make the team, hes got great burst and cuts very well
-Chambers looks much much bigger, as does zach and randy
- All in all, the thing that stood out the most was the coaching and play calling
-saban really went out and got a GREAT GROUP of coaches. the players look like their actually enjoying practice, unlike past teams. At the end of practice, the fans we cheering for Ronnine to come over and sign some autographs. Kay Jay literally picked Ronnie up over his shoulders and carried him over to the fense, seems like they are already good friends and could co-exist in the same backfield in the future. I've never walked away from a dolphin practice with so much confidence in my team. WE WILL BE PLAYOFF CONTENDERS THIS YEAR!!! WATCH!
