say we do trade for chad johnson and marion barber.. with all our new rookies and say a decent qb like dante culpepper or an improved trent green or JB and a good void for the left side like flozell adams or alan faneca, anyone else think that we could compete for a wc spot??

Thatd be great, except without the Daunte Culpepper part. I have a hard time believing more than one of those things will happen though.

and Tom Brady will break his leg an hour before the super bowl kick off. All that would be nice, but it all isn't gonna happen.

Marion Barber? He's a good back but we really don't need him. We're already crowded in the backfield this year comming up. Culpepper? Thanks but no thanks. He may be healthy but he just isn't the QB he used to be. He was a scrambling QB but he just doesn't have the tools anymore. I'm a Ronnie Brown fan, and I'm definately looking foward towards him comming back and raising havoc!!!

it wouldnt cost that much and besides we have some cap room

Barber is going to cost top dollar
Ocho is going to be looking for an extension paying him top dollar
Feneca will be looking for top dollar
Flozell Adams isn't going to come cheap
If we get 2 first rounders from Dallas, you have to pay them, that won't be cheap.

Well, what is our Cap Situation? What kind of contract are we assuming with Chad Johnson and Marion Barber and would they want to renegotiate it? What you think Faneca and Adams are going to realistically command on the open market when taking into consideration how much rediculous money people throw at O-linemen in free agency sometimes and most of the time way over spend. Count that into our cap situation and let me know what we're looking at.

im not that high on getting barber as other are but lets ask this 1 question about chad johnson...when was the last time this team truly had a great wr ....it has been awhile...i say if the bengals r open to the idea of trading him for a 2nd rd pick i think that is something that tuna and ireland half to take into consideration

dude we will have bout 27 mill to spend and fozel and faneca wont break bank for us!!! ppl are annying alreayd with this "where will we get hte money for this or this isnt madden junk" know your math, know how the cap space works, know how it exaclty HAPPENS before ppl go crying how will we do this.

HOW DID WE SIGN all those guys in Sabans first year in MIA? or what about NE!! they had what 22 mill to spend right? they got MOSS, STALLWORTH, Washington, WELKER, brought SEAU back, signed their ROOKIES, ETC ETC (and i know im missing on many other players ala the morris's et etc) and they still have 8 mill THIS YEAR. JESUS ppl u dont need 50 mill in cap to sign GOOD FAs let alone 2 GEEZER linemen taht will command good money.

BTW, a good TG? lmaoo TG wasn't even decent for us to get a good one. his days are way past.
