He may not be a Calvin Johnson #1 type Receiver BUT.... He's doing exactly what he's being paid to do and that's take the top off of the defense, and he's doing it at least once every game. I'm not knocking Tannehill but if we had any number of QB's Wallace would have at least 12 TD's so far this year. I wish they didn't wear helmets and we could see his facial expression every time he runs 60-70 yards down the field behind the defense and the ball sails over his head or behind him... #Frustrating.

But you are knocking Tannehill.

On a positive note I do think he is more of a complete WR now and has gotten quite tough. Liking it.

If Tannehill can just hit him deep like he should have in lions game. We would be so much better. Teams don't respect it because they know Tannehill will always overthrow him.

Wallace has had a great year so far, Tannehill had his first bad throw to wallace yesterday, it happens

You know what bugs the living crap out of me? I can't remember Wallace ever once laying out for a deep pass. It's like it has to be within the radius of his own arms for him to even try for it. That Tannehill pass yesterday was just like Drew Staton's TD where the reciever laid out and caught the pass. Wallace just doesn't do it and it urks me to no end.

Why do folks say this? If teams didn't respect it then they wouldn't "consistently" keep a safety over the top. How do I know? Because I've been to all the home games and can tell you 90% of the time the safety isn't far from where Mr. Wallace is lined up.

Now with that said it certainly would be in our favor to hit the deep balls. Part of the solution is we NEED to attempt more than 1 ball a game. It's ridiculous that in a course of a game we aren't attempting at least 3-5 balls every games. Silly!

I'm not sure if they are being called and Tanne is just going else where with the ball. But, you can't really improve if you don't work on it. I really feel that they are close and once they hit it a few times it will get a lot more consistent.

Here. Look at this and tell me why Wallace couldn't have done the same thing...

That ball was closer to this receivers hands than the balls Wallace has thrown to him. He put his hands out and his momentum led him to leave his feet. Wallace could have jumped for the ball yesterday and even if it touches his hands, I doubt he catches it as he's not that type of WR. Landry could probably make an over the head sprinting dive catch but not Wallace. He is what he is.

No it's not a shot a tannehill. I think Tanny is a tough SOB and makes great throws within a 20 yard box. The only aspects of his game that I feel needs improving is his pocket awareness and excapability and his Deep Ball. As a comparison.... Matt Stafford's deep ball to Johnson... with GREAT coverage by Grimes was a PERFECT throw and there's no defense for a Perfect throw.

When you take limited deep shots a game, the one's you do take you have to hit em.

Tannehill isn't a QB that would compliment Wallace but Wallace is a receiver that would compliment any QB, end of thread.

IMO, it's up to the QB to get the ball to each guy accordingly. Tannehill should know how Wallace catches and his style of play. Can't put extra pepper on it if you know the guy's not the type to make a miracle dive, he needs to know the sweet spots. People knock Wallace's catching a lot but the guy's made some slick grabs. Tanne just needs to get it down sooner than later.

Look at all the throws last year, not a single one in perfect stride.
