SB Nation: A Partial Draft History Review - w/ Statistics

Good read, Datruth did something similar 2 years ago and found that St Louis was the worst drafting team between 2002 and 2012

I've been saying for a long time the Patriots are a horrible drafting team. Aside from Brady carrying the banner, they really don't have a lot of players on their rosters over the years that they drafted.

Yet, nearly every draft day, Boomer always mentions when New England trades a pick about how masterful the Patriots are at maneuvering in the draft. If you can't draft, it doesn't matter how well you move in the draft.

The Patriots are good at finding free agents to plug holes. And they have a great coach. A great coach and great QB can make up for 52 other average guys.

And this is why every year you should strategically use a pick on a QB.

I clicked on the hyper linked article about Mark Buttfumble.

haha...still love this Sanchez, Sanchez, Sanchez

god bless the mod that did that...Sanchez

Lol. From the comments

A certain reader may be a littler hurt when its stated that "That works the other way, too. Have you heard of Mark Sanchez? The Jets took him fifth overall in the 2009 draft. Through four seasons of bad-to-terrible stats, they stubbornly refused to bench him, and the result was perhaps the worst quarterback career in NFL history." lol

that "writer" really should go back to writing for his HS paper. I am not sure this guy watches football.

stupidity doesn't hurt me, it feeds you guys who hate Mark but those that know what they are watching don't need an amateur "writer" to tell them how to think. This guy may be the worst "writer" I have ever seen. I am being serious, I really don't think he watches football.

Belichek's success is not based on his talent evaluation skills , its his absoliute skill as a coach and motivator.
The guy does not have 5 superbowl rings by accident.

There have been plenty of nfl qb careers much worse than Mark Sanchez

Its the fact hat it was said that makes it better. Always a funny thing especially when Sanchez had all this hype and has just been bad.
