The only time the Seabags faced a 3-4 team all year was when they played Dallas and their offense struggled. The Steelers have dispatched Palmer (then Kitna), Manning and Plummer. Some pretty decent Q.B.'s.
I'm hearing in Seahawk Bandwagon Headquarters (Vancouver) this week that "the Steelers have not faced an O-line like the Seahawks in the playoffs"...well, the Colts and the Broncos have damn good O-lines and they did'nt have too many issues with them.
I don't see Alexander doing much of anything in this game. The Steelers are very stout against the run. I see Holmgren deciding early to use a lot of three wide stuff to spread out the Steeler linebackers a little and get trhem into coverage. No matter, I'm sure LeBeau has some blitzes for that as well.
My only concern about the Steelers is Cowher getting run happy/conservative in the game. I hope he remembers they got to the Super Bowl by throwing early and taking some chances.
Let Ben throw it early, score some points and then pound the rock. Force Hasselbeck to win the game and then blitz him into the ground.
Steelers by less then a touchdown. I'm guessing 20 - 16. Steelers up early, 20-3 atthe half and the Seabags get back into it in the 4th when Cowher gets conservative.
