If Penny is down for the season or an extended period of time, we will have to find a vetern QB to come in and back up Henne.

Barring a trade, here are the only available vets that I could find.
Not so good. What the @#%* do we do???? I guess it's Walter or Griese.

If I had to sign a guy to add it would be John David Booty. There is nothing out there but at least he is young and could develop.
 
its funny we have already tried most of that list. makes it seem like were back to square 1. oh boy

There were those on this board that suggested Lemon was better than Rivers at one point and we got a steal in trading for him. Im sure none will admit that though, us finfans are much smarter than that lol
 
Out of that list I'd bring Joey Harrington back. If someone can get in his head and correct what Detroit messed up I feel he can be a good QB.
 
We dont need to get a vet QB. Henne is here so lets give him a shot to prove himself! We do need to get a good vet at WR though for him to throw too.
 
Well I am going to get bashed for this, but here goes. Trade for Grossman, Houston gave him the entire 4th preseason game as trade bait and throwing to those receivers he looked great! He never had any talent to support him on offense in Chicago.

Someone needs to back up Henne if Pennington is out. The team isn't comfortable with White as quarterback yet.
 
I would wait until the Eagles get back McNabb and get one of their left overs. If Henne goes down before that, then I run the Wildcat or let White run the spread offense. I would not in any circumstance have Pat White run the base offense as I don't think he is capable of it.
