ok, so this is basically an example, i'm not a bills fan. my dad is, and he said they play jacksonville again, like they did last season.
i was trying to figure out why that is, because the afc east plays the nfc east and afc whatever the division is with the seelers, ravens, browns and bengals. anyways the jaguars arent in either of those divisions, so i was wondering how they came up with the other two opponents a team plays (besides same division teams and two other divisions).
so i was looking at the schedule and it became quite clear to me, they were both in 3rd place in their divisions.
for the sake of conversation, let's say the bills and jaguars always come in 3rd place for the rest of time. does that mean they will play each other every season?
