I apologize if this has already been posted, and i feel sorry for you if you're one of those people that thinks fans should "take it one game at a time." Just thought it'd be interesting to keep up with from week to week.

Combined record 23-24
Jets 3-1
NO 4-0
at jets 3-1
at NE 3-1
Tampa 0-4
at carolina 0-3
at buffalo 1-3
NE 3-1
at JAX 2-2
at TENN 0-4
Houston 2-2
Pitt 2-2

You feel sorry for people that want to take it week to week? That's the only way to look at it and stay positive. Looking at our opponents, regardless of their record, there are 6-8 losses ahead of us.

i looked at that afterwards and didn't like how it sounded. i just meant specifically to people who would have negative things to say. I agree, I just think as fans we can look forward, unlike players.

The schedule is nowhere near as difficult as we thought it would be. However, our team has not played nearly as well as we thought it would either.

The next 4 games are brutal. if we come out of those with more than 1 victory, we'll be lucky.
The following 6 are all winnable games. The patsies are in there, but we're at home and we usually give Brady trouble in miami.
The final 2 games are also tough, but both are at home.

I think we'll start out about 2-6, then get alot more wins in the 2nd half of the season. Hopefully we wont be in such a hole that we cant compete for a playoff spot.

i think we have about three primetime games left, so that's pretty cool...

I really hope we don't start 2-6, though it's possible. It's also possible that we'd reel off 8 straight wins, get to 10-6, and then miss the playoffs.

I hope not, too! but coming up are the Saints, Patsies, and Jets twice... its very possible we go 1-3 in the next 4 games.

Of course anything can happen. But on paper, thats a brutal 4-game stretch.

I was just about to post about how I liked our chances against the saints because of our ability to control the time of possession... then i remembered the colts game. fail.

And hopefully the Steelers have taken hold of there division by that time and are resting there starters. If so thats a very winnable game.

I understand how everyone has been celebrating that we won a game, but i would not be surprised if were 1-7 going into the second half of the season.
Right now playoffs arent my biggest concern, its how the team plays and if we can get a winning record and build momentum for next season, think weve already dug ourselves into to deep a hole to make a playoff run.

I dont really get any of this talk. The Colts are #1 in all power rankings. We dominated the colts. What makes you all say we go 2-6? If we win the turnover margin, we are tough to beat, no matter what team they are.

Buffalo dominated the patsies and let them off the hook, we all know what we did to the bills. Why are the patsies unbeatable to everyone in the world?

funny because that may be the hardest game on your schedule.

Unless there are 10 more wins in those 12, we will likely miss the playoffs. We needed that Indy game badly.
