ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen report that "no contract negotiations" are expected to occur during Friday night's free agent visit between Peyton Manning and the Broncos.

Schefter and Mort also insist the fact that Denver is Manning's first visit, "does not define the Broncos as the favorite." Manning reportedly won't work out, instead meeting with coaches and "a handful of players." Said one source, "There is absolutely no preferred choice at this time. This is typical (Manning) doing his own research because it's a first-time and only-time process."

No big deal let AZ and DEN put there offers in so hopefully Ross can go in and top theirs.

This I feel is the most accurate account of what is actually going on. People keep over reacting to teams inverviewing Manning but in all reality Manning is the person doing the interviewing. He will want to play for the team that he feels gives him the best chance to win another SB. I'm sure they are throwing some numbers around with his agent but nothing concrete. Once Manning makes a final decision of where he wants to go then the serious number crunching will begin with that team.

Who has the most cap room out of the 3 teams?[/QUOTE

I believe the Fins actually have the least, but it doesn't matter. If they want to sign Manning they can give him a huge signing bonus and defer the payment to later years. Plus they could resign or restructure players contracts i.e. Long, Dansby, and Marshall. Or the could release players all together such as Bell, Cook, . If the Fins want to sign Manning plus Wayne they can get it done no problem.

The fans in Denver better hope no cameramen find where Manning is otherwise he'll shun their franchise forever. Same applies to those peoples in the desert in Arizona.
