So this idiot Shefter says Manning doesn't like how the media went crazy in Miami????
Well...here in Denver they have a TMZ style situation with reporters at Dove Valley and the local radio FM104.3 TheFan just changed their name to 104.3TheMan..ning and even got their station identification changed so when they cut to commercial the radio voice drop says the new name...lame..

He's been on the market for two days. Stop acting like it's been weeks and the Dolphins haven't done **** to speak with him
 
Look, Favre retired, its the offseason, and these guys still have a job to do. If he had solid news.im.sure he'd report.it, but since he doesn't he is reporting the impressions of people he knows around the league. He isnt being a jerk, he is just relaying likely useless impressions from people probably not in the know. Its not big news and he isnt trying to make it sound that way. Its just him reporting that he has no.new information really.
 
The SAME THING just happened in Denver. They were showing it on ESPN itself like they were following OJ Simpson. don't believe everything ESPN tells you. This has been posted a bunch of times anyway.
 
Well the fact that we're losing steam has some merrit. I don't think many people expected nearly half the league to go after Manning. Most figured it would be us, Seattle, Arizona and the Jets and then 8 more teams, that we know of, popped into the equation.

Would I be disappointed if Manning doesn't sign with us? Sure. But a big part of me wants to see Philbin bring in his own guy and coach him up like he did with Matt Flynn. We haven't had a coach that can do that since Shula was here and I was actually looking forward to it.
 
everyone needs to come down.....I don't believe this is about our FO...I think Manning knows where he wants to play for the most part and is just making sure......if he picks another team then let him do it. It could be a blessing in disguise just like not getting Fisher is imo.

Seems like a knee jerk reaction too me.

We know nothing, the journalists know nothing. How about we be patient and let it work itself out.
 
I will be the first to give TONS of credit toward Ross if he lands Manning. However, I am tired of the spin jobs people make around here defending this guy.
