He mentioned Miami signing Vernon Carey and that would allow Miami to now go ahead and sign Yeremiah Bell and Andre Goodman. If this holds true that would be great.:up:
 
I really hope we get Bell back, but I could live without Goodman returning as long as we find a suitable replacement.
 
When you look at Philly signing a Nickel CB for 21mil makes you wonder if Hill would sign for less. Bell would have to want alot more then that.
 
I think there's better players out there at both CB and SS than Goodman and Bell. I'd be hesitant to give either of them large deals because of their respective injury histories, and would look at the likes of Ronald Bartell, Leigh Bodden, and Gibril Wilson first before I adjust any offers previously made to Goodman and Bell.
 
I love Bells speed and smarts, his knee worries me. I know he made it through last season without problem, but he has a long history of injuries. Goodman had a real nice second half last year he made some really good plays. I think he would be a real nice one year stop gap till we draft a Corner to replace him. I think if we can focus on the front 7 and land some serious talent there, both Goodie and Allen would be more than sufficient at CB as for Bell he was all over the field last year making big plays. I think it would be a mistake to let him walk, but we'll see.
 
you can say that there are better players out there, but dont forget about the importance of chemistry and these guys being familiar with one another back there in the secondary. keeping them together is important
 
I say just finish building the O-line and D-line first then worry about the other positions.

I would expect us for the most part to be pretty quite in free agency. Assuming we can re-sign Bell and Goodman, I think the biggest name we will maybe land is Jason Brown.

Don't expect us to be as active as last free agency when we cleaned house.
 
Isn't that just speculation? He said now that we signed Vernon, we have the oppurtunity to look to them. That doesn't mean anything except that might be the order in which we attempt to sign these fellas.
 
if all this goes down and they're successful with teh signing of Jason Brown then i foresee a big trade for a WR
