Schefter: Kubiak high on Fins radar

you must hate the Jets more and more everyday.

why would you say that? Gary Kubiak is mediocre at best, never had any success w/o Shanahan(as OC/HC) and Shanahan hasn't really had any success w/o Elway(as a HC).

You also can say that Bellicheck hasn't done anything as a head coach without Brady

That would be true and he wouldn't be a HC today if not for Brady but he has developed into a great HC and was once a great DC. 2 things that could never be said about kubiak.

Many people do...

but you can easily spot people who don't know what they are writing about.

before Modell sold the Browns, Billicheck was making obvious progress. Once Art let Clevelanders know the team was moving it was over

I would expect an answer like that from you. Just like Sparano was going to be a great OC, and and the Jets rode Buttfumble into the playoffs and all the way to the A.F.C CHAMPIONSHIIIIIIP GAME (as you love to quote). Both completely laughable arguments from you.

when did I ever say Sparano would be a great OC? when did I ever say he'd be a good OC? when did I say "we rode mark" to the title games? I love when people have nothing and have to resort to making things up.

And yet when they can prove you actually said **** like that, not saying that is the case here, you call them stalkers and pathetic for not having lives.

The Browns were 4-5 when the announcement was made, they weren't making any progress. They had just lost 3 of 4 games and were on their way to missing the playoffs for the 4th time in 5 years under BB. he has developed into a great coach but he was terrible in Cle and terrible early in NE until Brady stepped on the field and rescued his career.

so you think it's normal to save my all my posts, dedicate 15 pages of bad photoshops to me and follow me and save posts of mine from different boards? That's not stalking?

If there are a couple of things you save for future reference to make fun of me that's one thing but clearly that isn't the case w/ that poster. He has serious issues.

Great players make coaches look pretty smart. If you look at his coaching stops Kubiak has had success everywhere he's been regardless talent level. He won superbowls with Denver and SF. He got terrific production from QBs like Griese, Plummer, and Shaub. He's gotten good rushing production from guys like Olandis Gary and Steve Slaton. To say he's had to have great talent to be productive just isn't factual.

Let's look at this another way. No one drafted Arian Foster but under Kubiak he was all pro. Terrell Davis was something like a 4th rd pick and he might be a hall of famer. If they were super talented they would both have been drafted higher (or at all for Foster). Kubiak's offense helped both.

When he was hired YOU and I got into it big. Your argument was how good he was going to be as the Jets OC. My argument was the opposite. You were very adamant. And you need to own up to your stance on Buttfumble and the playoffs. I dont have to go back into the depths. Everyone on this site knows, including yourself

Kubiak won a playoff game a couple of years ago with TJ Yates as his starting QB. Andre Johnson and Matt Schaub can't stay healthy, and I honestly don't think they have incredible blue chip talent on that offense outside of AJ.

Ben Tate? Arian Foster? Solid players, but like the RBs Kubiak worked with in Denver, you think maybe they're products of a system? They just plug guys in there and they look great.

Anyway, I've mentioned before that I'm not sure I buy the "Houston has amazing talent" argument. At the very least, I don't think Houston has amazing talent on the offensive side of the ball. We'll see what happens with Bill O'Brien, but I think coaching was a big part of that team's success.

Having an OC that had 4th, 3rd and 4th ranked NFL offenses on consecutive years would be a dream come true.

As an OC he also had a top 10 O in points scored 9 out of 10 seasons. Top 5 O in yards 8 out of 10 seasons. Yeah, I'll take it.

How's his health after that stroke or whatever he had happen? Honestly, should he even be coaching at all at this point?

You thought fist pump was going to be a good O-coordinator? You must not have watched him coach our team. Tell me, how many times did he blow time outs just to seemingly collect his thoughts? Especially after a rare 20+ yard play, right? Am I making sense?
