ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Dolphins explored a trade for Browns OLB Barkevious Mingo ahead of this past week's trade deadline.
MIami lost LE Cameron Wake to a torn Achilles' in Week 8 and was looking for an edge upgrade to fill Wake's spot in the rotation. The trade obviously didn't come to fruition, but the Browns appear to have soured on the No. 6 overall pick of the 2013 draft. He has seven sacks through 39 games. Nov 8 - 11:07 AM

* Never liked this player in college. Always thought he was overrated.
* Like that the team was trying at the deadline and not folding their hands.
* Do not like that the team thinks they are that undermanned at DE.
 
If it was for a 3rd round pick(which is the rumor), I would have done it.

The Browns can't stick with a coach or scheme so it obviously affects the players on the field. With our LB's so weak and him being on a rookie contract I see now reason why the Dolphins couldn't pull the trigger.
 
Late day three...3rd rounder we would have been fleeced.
 
Exactly, a player that is boom or bust, and at a position of need. I too, am happy they didnt overpay.
 
I wouldve preferred of they explored trades at oline and cornerback to be honest....jamar taylor sucks
 
Possibly for a 6th and definitely a 7th. Glad they didn't cave.
