He is who we forgot he was.
Incog came to the Dolphins as the biggest ass clown in the NFL. Somehow Sparano was able to do one good thing while with this team and kept him in line and focused on football. So much so, in fact, that we all forgot what a giant ass clown he was and started to praise him for his great play and funny game day antics and comments.
In comes a new regime and he is thrust into a leadership role as a veteran pro bowler on a weak offensive line. A recipe for disaster and the signs of trouble were everywhere. But he was one good piece on an otherwise rag tag offensive line so his antics were overlooked and unchecked. Fast forward to today and its pretty easy to see how we got here.
The entire front office is to blame for this, but nobody more so than Joe Philbin. You are the head coach and with that comes certain responsibilities, like knowing the pulse and atmosphere of your locker room. I like Philbin, but should his head role for this when it is all said and done I would not be surprised or upset. You are a leader of men and you allowed one of those men to belittle, threaten, and abuse another for what I assume was over a year now.
That VM is vile and anyone defending it as being normal locker room banter baffles me. I commend the front office on their swift action and hope never to see that worthless human being in my beloved Aqua and coral again.
I will close by offering my best to Jon Martin and his family. I am sorry for the hostile work environment you have been dealing with for the past year and I am disgraced of my franchise for allowing it to occur. I only hope the Dolphins get a chance to make it up to you and you get the chance to enjoy football again.

Jesus there's some narrow minded people on this board...everyone handles situations differently, it's easy to say "oh if I'm in his position I fight back." Obviously you guys are too close minded to understand the super basic concept that all people are different psychologically. There's plenty of people who would kill themselves over this, in the same way there's plenty of people who would just tell him to eff off for being a fat loser. There's a reason we can't just spout whatever the **** we want to at anyone in this day and age. It's not that simple.

You do this repetitively and you're too dumb to be able to pick up on the fact that you're crossing the line in this person's eyes, then you're too stupid and don't deserve to keep your job.

We do not have all the facts. And the facts we know of so far IMO still make Martin look very very bad.
If true what they are claiming against Cog, he obviously is one detached human being. Both of them need to be gone for good.

I would be shocked if Pouncey was as stupid as to leave evidence, txt and voice mail of any hazing he was involved in. Let's be honest here. We all know this goes on, and prob always will. just another black eye on the organization. Icognito will be gone for good. I hope Martin comes back and helps this team get better. With a clear head, he may play better. This consistent problem may have had to do with his inconsistency

Why do we support a guy like Cog? There's a lot of pressure on these athletes, more than you are me can peg. Running to the police right off the bat? That definitely wouldn't blow this story up even more and create a greater divide in the locker room. If correct in that he went to Philbin in OTA's then Philbin has really failed in this whole thing. There's a line, and Cog crossed it with a guy who might not be cut out psychologically to play in the NFL. Oh well, he does have a Stanford education to fall back on.

It's also what Martin did to resolve this. He obviously felt comfortable enough after April to return to work. IMO at that point it's very clear what Martin's intent was.

I have yet to see anyone defend Cog. I've seen a lot of ppl try and defend Martin however. Both are just as bad in my book. One is a bully and one appears to be a 6'5" whimp.
If I went to my boss and showed evidence and my boss didn't try and do anything to resolve the issue, and I feared for my life, yes I'd go to the Police with that evidence. In no way do I think I'm alone in my thinking.
