Are you serious? If you really think this way you need to get help. In no way is this Martin's fault. Unreal.

1. Incognito will be released.
2. Incognito is at fault
3. Martin is not the first to be hammered as such and needed to fight back to make it stop. Learn the culture of the locker room. O.J. did not excuse Incognito, but this situation is exactly what O.J. thought was happening.
 
I was also taught, that if you see someone being bullied and don't try and stop it, you're a coward. It was taught to me and I've taught it to my children and I can say that I've never bullied anyone and have often stood up to bullies when I was young...

Whether Martin was weak or not, where were all of the people who are supposed to stand up to a bully? If others knew and did nothing, they're worse than cowards. Martin stood alone when he didn't have to.
 
This could have all been avoided if only Ireland would have asked Incognito if his mom is/was a prostitute...

Your phrasing made it seem (to me) that Martin was to blame for failing to fight back. I do agree with the premise that Martin probably responded poorly (for his own sake) to the bullying, so it continued. We've all seen it. I played sports. Not arguing that.

Martin fighting back may have ended it but that's not the requirement. He reportedly told Philbin which should have ended it.

I mean, all we had heard was that he pulled a prank at lunch and made the rookies pay for dinner. Just this voicemail alone changes everything. Threatening a guys family? Wayyyyy out of bounds. I don't think anybody is backing up Incognito now.
 
tbh, I dunno why Martin is/was scared of Incognito... Why would he be afraid of a teammates words. and If incognito wants to take it there to whatever he is saying then he would have to suffer the consequences...Whether its at the hands of another teammate in Martin or law enforcement. I would be laughing at incognito for everything he said, daring him to do something close to what he is talking about. Then I would deal with him and if he wants to take it to the media I have the info to back up the action. I say all that to say this. I believe if this is martins way of standing up for injustice, he could have done it a different way and not leave his team behind the way he did. Gotta learn how to handle things for yourself, and when that doesnt work, then be diplomatic. What do I know tho...

Agree. Incognito is at fault, but I just wanted people to listen to O.J. how this stuff gets exacerbated.

It's Incognito's fault for threatening him. You need to just stop posting on this because you clearly have trouble distinguishing between victim and predator.
