Or, you know, Incognito could have acted like a damn professional and not threatened him and his family for well over a year.

Why would he be afraid of a teammates words. and If incognito wants to take it there to whatever he is saying then he would have to suffer the consequences...Whether its at the hands of another teammate in Martin or law enforcement. I would be laughing at incognito for everything he said, daring him to do something close to what he is talking about. Then I would deal with him and if he wants to take it to the media I have the info to back up the action. I say all that to say this. I believe if this is martins way of standing up for injustice, he could have done it a different way and not leave his team behind the way he did. Gotta learn how to handle things for yourself, and when that doesnt work, then be diplomatic. What do I know tho...

I hear what you're saying, and I feel the same way. But the truth is we are not in Martins shoes so only he knows what he went through. Everyone has different personalities. I would have laughed at some of the stuff Cog said to me and maybe even take a few jabs back at him myself. But there are some people that simply refuse to make things worse and only fight back when push comes to shove.

The only thing that bothers me is that this makes Martin look really soft.
 
Wow... What is going to happen to the rest of the team now? We let this guy in and now our name is even more tarnished then before. This is something we might not be able to recover from.

Whether Martin was weak or not, where were all of the people who are supposed to stand up to a bully? If others knew and did nothing, they're worse than cowards. Martin stood alone when he didn't have to.

It doesn't matter, he shouldn't have to......Just because the guy is overly sensitive or scared does not make it his fault. Incognito is human garbage and 100% at fault. Incog is the predator and Martin is the victim. It's plain and simple man. Martin is not to blame at all.

My question is...... Why was he doing this to Martin? What was the purpose or motive? Was he doing this to other lineman or teammates? Seems to me like Cogs has real problems. Sheesh

Are we sure Schefter has heard the voicemails? I have it on good authority that ESPN is trying to destroy the Dolphins reputation and that they should fire Schefter because he just makes stuff up.

Some people just talk like that, it's just who they are. If Martin blew it off and just knnew that's how Incog is, then it's not so big.

Has anyone else had vulgar, put you down friends before? It's all in the sarcasm of it. Words in a text or vm, may not show the kidding around aspect of what was said, written.

Did Martin ever tell him to stop, or that he didn't like being treated this way?

Wouldn't surprise me if he was riding Martin because he thinks Martin sucks. I by no means agree with treating anyone the way Cogs has treated Martin not even in Jest no matter what you think of them. I just think everything we've seen posted here over the last few months from Richie's dad was likely straight from Richie's mouth. Basically it's probably what Richie really think about his team mates (Martin sucks, Pouncey'a a good player but a druggie, Garner stinks, Jerry sucks, the fins have no TE, the RB's suck, Wallace is not worth the money we paid him and even Tanny stears down WR's and always will). I'd love to hear Jake long weigh in on this, he probably has some goo insight.

But ya, there is an element to truth to that. If he stood up to the abuse quicker, or aligned himself with another strong force int he locker room, things may have been different. But in the end, Incognito is the culpable one here.

What strong force in the locker room? A second year quarterback? An offensive coordinator that bullys players on national TV? A headcoach that needs to be coached at the podium? A GM that asks prospects if their moms a prostitute? How about Jake Long? Reggie Bush?

I love this team, but the whole thing needs to be scrubbed with Bleach.
