Schefter just said that Manning would not be meeting with the Phins if we was not seriously considering signing with them, he said titans a different situation because muncheck and GM are not on board with signing Manning

I agree, but not because of anything that douche Schefter has to say. If Manning was not having some thoughts about coming to the Dolphins, he would not be wasting his time meeting with us.

schefty is crap, but i do think he is right about this. manning is only visiting teams he wants to be apart of, and has turned down serveral teams already

Bud Adams, the 90 year old Titan's owner has already told everyone that, "He is the man I want. Period," Adams told Wyatt on Sunday. "And the people that work for me understand that. They know who I want. I want Mr. Manning with the Titans and I will be disappointed if it doesn't happen."

Ut ohhhhh, that ends it for us!!!! The owner must think he can buy whatever he wants. Talk about arrogance.

now we believe what these guys are reporting?

For me I always believe them. A few days ago he was being told what to say by Condon, and today he is being told what to say by Condon. It's all about context IMO.

When your agent is the same agent as Manning, ya...

I mentioned in another post, if he was sold on denver or arizona, he wouldn't be meeting with the phins or titans. On top of it, the Cards are said to not have the cap room or even close to it right now. So if that's the case, you'd think he would have signed with denver already. He's seen the Phins facilities, so there is no reason to do the whole "campus visit" thing. I still think it's a slim to none chance he signs with us, but he must not be sold on the other two places he toured. You could call it posturing to get the best deal out of the team he wants to ultimately sign with, but if that were the case, you'd think he would make it appear like a more serious visit and make them feel like he WOULD sign somewhere else for more. I don't know, I just don't think this thing is over for one reason or another.

If you use your logic, which I agree with, the Dolphins are the team he is going to go to. He knows everything about the Dolphins, so why wouldn't he simply sign with Denver already? You may say, because he wants to take today to workout and clear his head? OK, then why setup a meeting with the Phins for tomorrow? Working out and clearing your head is one thing, it's another to setup a meeting with the Phins after you do all that.

Miami are the FAV's IMO.
