Schein: Ross is clueless and Miami has the worst quarterback corps in the league

That's not an assumption that's a fact.

ONLY team to reach 2 title games
ONLY AFC team to win 4 playoff games
Tied for NFL lead in playoff wins

you just went on about fins playing in your words: "meaningless games" when they totally outplayed the jest for more than 1/2 of last season 6-3 vs 4-5. Hell, could playing for your job, career, pride and your coach's job being anymore meaningless than teams playing in games 15&16 in 2009 with absolutely nothing to gain by having their starters compete, or even play hard when in, other than late season injuries?

2009: what I call the Rafael Palmiero* season.

Sorry no one remembers the 2nd, or 3rd runner up in beauty pageant.

I do.

Lost in the discussion or I lost to you? Which is it, my internet bravado needs to know.

Maybe your reading comprehension isn't what you think either. The Giants are elite now b/c of their 2011 title that occurred after their 2007 title. See how that's done?

Also lead NFL in failed to win the AFCCG twice category too

I guess it's technically both but I was referring to being lost in the discussion not losing to me.

But they didn't win a playoff game from '08-'10 and didn't reach the playoffs 2 of those 3 seasons. Isn't there a stipulation in the Phinz book of elite about that?

I do.

You act like there's only one narrow and specific way I consider a team elite. The fact that I have my own definition of what elite means that you can't possibly tell me I'm wrong seeing as how its all opinion anyway.

It's A-OK that you accuse me of being lost in the discussion. It must be nice to act like you're talking to a ****ing dunce.

You gave the definition, you have to win a SB then follow that up w/ succes over the next few seasons. The Giants didn't win a playoff game the next 3 seasons and missed the playoffs 2 of those 3 seasons.

For the 50th time, the Giants were not elite until they won THIS PAST SEASON's Super Bowl. You make it seem like I'm confused about my own thoughts about what being elite is.

I'm just using your criteria.

I don't get your disagreement then. The Giants are now elite b/c of their Super Bowl runs in '07 and last year. If I said they were elite before this past year, I misspoke.

I didn't say that though.

but how can they be elite '07'-11 when they didn't win a playoff game the 3 seasons in btw?

I think they are elite, I think 1 SB win makes you elite, I'm using your criteria.

Your being elite isn't even getting to the SB. But to you there are multiple ways to be elite which is easy when it includes your team.

Giants

SB win in 2007
Makes playoffs and lose in 2008
Go 8-8 in 2009
Miss the playoffs at 10-6 in 2009
SB win in 2011

You're telling me they didn't have success in between SB wins?

ZERO playoff wins, ONE playoff app in 3 seasons.

If the Giants arent elite then the Jets are bottom feeders.

Pay attention, I said the Giants are elite, any SB winner is elite(even 9-7/10-6 ones). Phinz has a formula where you have to win a SB and be great over a period of time, they weren't great '08-'10.

 It's like he thinks I'm going to forget my own opinion of what elite is.

The Giants were successful in between SBs as pointed out above. I didn't say the word "great" but that's what he does to spin opinion.

Thanks for the reality check, I wasn't able to surmise that from my own mind. Getting to the playoffs and/or having a 10-6 is having success in my opinion. The Jets had success in the glory years you point out every 5 seconds.

If the Giants never won last year's SB, they wouldn't be elite.
