Hey all - first of all, Happy Holidays and best wishes.
Secondly- I am not a guy who gets X's and O's, so I wanted to throw this question out there for those who do:

Last Monday vs NE we played a lot of man to man, sent exotic blitzes against a 40 yr old QB who is not particularly mobile and it worked.

This weekend in Buffalo, (assuming Tyrod Taylor starts) we will be playing a younger, much more mobile QB who can kill you with his legs if need be. Will repeating the same plan, tight man and sending blitzes and attacking the passer to knock him off his game, work? It seems to me that this week pass rushing would need to be much more "stay in your lane" disciplined, and maybe keep a spy on Taylor? I don't know. What does everyone think would work best against a QB like Taylor, who is different athletically from Brady?

Thanks all, and please have safe, warm weekend.

If Im not mistaken, Taylor will have a bad ankle Sunday...Pretty sure he was out last week because of it. So that may affect his ability to run tomorrow.

We need to keep up the pressure. Have to keep riding our line and just keep attacking. Our dt rotation has been ballin, and our ends are starting to get into a rhythm. Sacks would be nice, but the heat is still on and it's opening opportunities for turnovers. Also what a great 3rd down efficiency these last two games.

We have versatile heavy hitters at safety that now are starting to allow some blitz variations at LB , which is starting to force throwaways, hurries, and turnovers. Jones and TJ play the flats and middle very well. I'm really enjoying how you don't really know what either one is going to do, and our cover 1 robber schemes are solid with those two. I think they make up for the lack of range in our LB core, and I trust them more to make a play on the ball.

Lbs need to either be blitzing or in man coverage or filling a gap. Please be done with the zone.

Corners are starting to play the ball very well when playing press man. We need Tank and X for this final stretch and Bobby and Verner have stepped well as of late.

Overall I finally just feel like we finally know how to play all three units together. We're a downhill defense and we're starting to play that way.

it is a great question. I think Miami has to keep dialing up pressure not matter what. Sitting back in zone has killed this team. However, the first priority is McCoy
