What a shame. ill take a 6th round flyer (or 7th) on him no doubt though
 
how far down does this drop him because with a full recovery, you could get like a 2nd-4th round talent in the 6th or 7th round..

i think he will be there in the 6th or 7th and i wouldnt mind taking a shot at him he looked very good in one on one drills very fast
 
Yeah I caught that when I was watching my DVR last night. That's a shame, the guy had a very good Shrine Game week and was looking very good in the drills yesterday before the injury. I wish the kid the best and hope he can bounce back next year.
 
I feel so bad for him.

As for what it does for his draft status, it probably makes him a UDFA. That's the reality. It's a damn shame. He did OK at the Shrine practice week and game, I guess hindsight is 20/20 but when you get the call to participate in the Senior Bowl on top of everything, you generally shouldn't say no.

Where'd you project him going before the injury?
 
We have three sixth round picks. It's a smart investment to use one of them to draft Schofield.
