HYPOTHETICAL:

Alright guys, time to play Dolphins GM!!!
The Fins can make one more move to solidify the defensive backfield.

- They'll have to choose
1 of 2 particular Veteran Players.
-They WILL have the money to pay him!!!

Now the question is:

W H O D O T H E Y G E T ? ? ?

Lance Schulters

I think Schulters will not only have more of an impact, but will be better in 2005, as Law has yet to prove to anyone that his mangled foot is 100% yet.

I would take in Lance b/c i think that the better our saftys are the better our DBs will be, we need head hunter

Schulters is the one player that can put this Def. over the top.

Ty Law is still a great CB but often injury.

I give my vote to Lance

Can't lose with either, assuming both are healthy (Schulters is coming of an injury year as well). I went with Schulters, we have young corners that we need to develop (Poole and Daniels) and by the time they beat out Law and Madison they won't be so young. I'd rather have one or both young corners put onto the starting lineup and have a veteran safety, since it appears we have journeymen back there. Bell could be the exception but we won't know until he stays healthy and plays.

shulter and t-buck would be a terror in the backfield

I think it depends on who we have more confidence in: Daniels/Edwards/Howard or Tillman/Bell.

It's ironic. Both players suffered foot injuries that KO'd them for the season. Law's injury was more severe though, whereas Schulters is ready to go.

Saban says corners dictate what you do defensively more than any other position. But I'm more apt to take the safety in this instance. He's healthy. And I'm concerned about our ability to defend back there. We have Madison on one side at CB. Tebucky Jones doesn't carry the same reputation in coverage at his safety position. We'd certainly have some hitters patrolling back there.

id love to sign both and we still may if law agrees to a small contract but id take sgt.schulters.we need bigtime help at the safety position im confident in both travis daniels and mario edwards they will come to play every week also dont forget reggie howard but he must get his act together and play like he did in carolina.go fins pigskin is in the air can you feel it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our safety spot is slightly worse than our CB positions so I'd have to give the slight edge to Schulters. Would like to have both of course, which would greatly improve our secondary.

What is it with your posts and pictures and fonts? It should be a sin to put patriot pictures in the main forum.

I take Schulters. In a perfect world I'd want both players, but I want Lance over Ty.

i voted law but really i would be happy if we signed either one we need one of them to sure up the defence.

I wouldn't be surprised if both players make an impact this year, regardless of what team they play on. Lance's injury was less severe than Laws plus top caliber saferties are tough to come bye.

Gotta give the nod to Lance.
