I know SOME Dolphans really wanted to see Schulters re-signed.
It looks as if he may be a Seahawk soon.
Personally, I would love for us to upgrade the safety position...

Seahawks | Schulters still pondering where to sign
Fri, 24 Mar 2006 21:42:03 -0800

Jeff Darlington, of the Palm Beach Post, reports free agent S Lance Schulters (Seahawks) came away from a visit to the Seattle Seahawks impressed, but he has yet to sign a contract with the team, agent Brian Levy said. Levy said both Schulters and the Seahawks seem interested in a deal.

I hope he doesn't, hey didn't seattle offer Nate Burleson a lot of money? I wonder how much Seattle has, and what they are offering him.

Figures...they've swiped half the guys we have been interested in...Ashworth, Peterson....just all the more proves Holmgren wants to copy our system

I don't know how much cap space Seattle has specifically,I just know they
have more than we do.

With the quality of S's on the market like Schulters and Tank Williams this offseason, and Saban didn't really bother from what it seems like to resign them, it makes me think that S is a priority in the draft and we will pick up a couple of them.

Or

Bell and Tillman have shown him enough to start, or he might even switch Daniels there which is an outside possibility.

im wondering what schulters wants for a contract. seattle probably will over pay for him just like they did with burelson and peterson.

That sucks, well they are trying to get back to the big dance, off to a damn good start.

Schulters is a good safety, not the best, but definately better than
average. I can say this, last year against the Panthers, he single-
handely won that game for us with a last minute INT.

No Doubt

so who does everyone like safety if we do look at FAs?

I kinda like Williams, but that pick that Schulters had to help seal the deal in the carolina game last season was so sweet
