What happened to him? Why is there a rift between the team and him. He was our best defensive back last year. A great quarterback of the defense. If we were to bring him back, we could use the draft to focus on our three other needs: OLB (Manny Lawson), WR (Chad Jackson) or OL (Winston Justice).

Was there an incident that occured that we don't know about? I don't beleive he's signed with another team. I know Seattle was looking at him but....

Maybe we're waiting until after the draft falls and we'll sign him if we get the OLB and WR.

he has only visited with the seahawks and they didn't sign him

I wouldn't worry too much about Seattle. They still don't know the status of Hamlin, so the word is he didn't get offered the opportunity of a starting position. He doesn't want to end up in a fight for playing time - he wants on the field and he wants to get paid like anyone else. Plus, Seattle won't pay him starter $$$ unless they're sure he'll be on the field as a starter, and there's just too much uncertainty for that right now I suppose.

Schulters would help us fill a need with a guy who knows the defense well and who is a leader. He won that Carolina game all by himself (caused the game changing fumble, and intercepted the game clinching pass at the end of the game).

Seahawks just traded for a safety from the Bears (Mike Green). Does this help our chances in landing Schulters?

He will be back for Vet minimum. They always come back...he said in 1 interview...He signed with Miami because "They were the only ones that wanted me."

He isn't coming back to the Dolphins. His agent even said about a month ago that the team and him decided to go their seperate ways. Saban already brought in Hill and Cooper at safety.

Schulters to Seattle unlikely now...

The Schulters thing to Seattle is pretty unlikely now in my eyes because the Seahawks just traded for Bears safety Mike Brown today. If Schulters only visited with Seattle, then do you think there is a better possibility that he resigns with Miami? I would love to have him back for a couple more years. He was productive in his 1st and only season with Miami and could be even better with a year under his belt. We need to sign Schulters!

I want Schulters back to, and I would guess this does give him more of a shot to re-sign

Mike Brown is a VERY good pick up for the Seahawks though

as many big plays as hes had, he takes alot of chances...(see Jets-Fins game Bollinger to Jolley)
