Science fiction title with nonfiction content: Omar Kelly is Smarter Than Everyone...

This is for motivation only...nothing more.

I agree 100% with my boy Blue on this one.

Anyone that thinks Joe didn't do this to light a fire under Mr.Davis ass is mistaken. The message is clear to me, perform like a starter or we will fill your roll with someone else no matter how talented you think you are or how secure you think your position is.

Lol u guys! "Vontae another flop!" The freaking season hasn't even started and u already want to call for his head when VD never had a bad season.

I'm not too sure what to make of Vontae's sidelining. Omar teweeted a few days ago it may be for motivational purposes, or maybe he's just having a flat camp, or maybe, the rookies are outplaying him. There is a new regime and they're looking for certain skillets that fit their philosophy. There isn't any reason to doubt that Vontae is having a tough time. The demotion is clear to me he needs to impress these coaches.

Omay is quirky for sure, but he's always allowed things to play out before giving an affirmative answer, and for that I follow him. He's less knee jerky. But at the end of the day, every beat writer isn't a coach, so let's all take it all witha grain of salt and let things play out.

There have been plenty of reports that suggested Ireland was the one banging the table for Vontae, while Parcells actually wanted Clay Matthews. I've been willing to give Ireland the benefit on some stuff, but there's more than enough evidence out there to suggest that those who think Parcells made all the personnel decisions are off base.

I doubt that all the flops are all Parcells, and all the homeruns are Ireland, but if you research it, and know Parcells, you will find out that most of the Big flops had Parcells written all over it.

Don't you find it strange that the last two drafts seem to look like the best Miami has had in a long.....Coincidence?

Not sure I buy that. Sounds like typical Parcell's revisionist history to me.

Anyway back to the original topic. If we are to take this at face value, then our new coaches are basically saying the best man will play, regardless of draft/salary/tenure. I think that's what we all want right ? So why are so many upset ?
