I kind of agree. He does have a tendency to be inconsistent. I remember one game last year, he totaly blew his route and the pass from AJ bounced off his head because he wasn't looking.

But he does make some beautyful catches!
agree

I don't disagree. AJ has blown it many times as well. But I do think Chambers has a tendency to be inconsistent.

..thats true..I also must admidt he doesnt show ANY fire on the field...

That doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't have a drive to be the best. Not everybody has to celebrate for 10 minutes after a good play ala Junior Seau. Offensive players, in general, depend less on intensity, so most don't go overboard when good things happen.

Agreed. None whatsoever.

:fire:

Here's some for him.

 ...A guy like Chad Johnson is cool..yeah he dances and makes signs.etc. But he works his butt off and has that ****iness that is helpfull and not detrimental to his team.

..How?? The man cares more about his team than most athletes....I want a WR who gets upset and is emotional..its teh nature of the position.

What do you consider "fire"?. When Ricky ran for 1800+ yards he didn't exactly do back flips in the endzone or throw his arms up like a gorilla after a 10 yard run. He ran, went back to the huddle and ran again. Not to mention how can you have any fire and/or excitement when you have Fiedler/Gus/AJ throwing you the ball. You really can't. He's probably a little upset.

more espn, northeast bias against our fins.

This "bias" talk against the Dolphins is crazy. On every forum, for every team, posters have this idea that the world is against their team. That's just not the case. The fins are coming off their worst season ever, so people are predicting us and our players to be terrible. What do you expect them to do? Here's a bit of a newsflash....The "experts" know less about the Dolphins than we do. Take what they say with a grain of salt, as has been pointed out in the past, most don't even know who's on our team and who isn't.

To a point, I agree. If you're on this board, then basically you're a homer. We see Chambers as a really good receiver. However, output wise, his numbers are inconsistant. We see him make these magical catches, but in reality they only count for a catch and yards, not style points. And of course, a lack of a real QB doesn't help much either.

And the Russian judge gives Chambers an 8.0

Bust: WR Chris Chambers
The Dolphins have some serious QB problems, and Chambers still lacks an explosive complement at the No. 2 WR spot. Chambers has never been consistent, and he doesn't have the fire of some of the league's better receivers, so it's possible he might never live up to his potential.

..COuldnt disagree more about those comments...he's never had better surrounding WR's..
Blahblahblahblahblah...yet another pencil neck-fantasy footbal lovin' half wit who hasn't the knowledge or aptitude to appreciate skill when he sees it. Go ask a Peter King what he thinks of CC if you want to know the truth. Hell, go ask Bills fans what they think of him, that's a pretty good estimation of his worth. If CC was on the market right now there would be 31 other teams tripping over each other to sign him. Stats DO NOT equate to talent/ability. Stats equal talent/ability + right system + good QB + good OL. The WR position is not one that can creat success for itself like the OL or DL. They are the last on the totem pole of football success. They're much celebrated, but in order for them to succeed, first their number has to be called, then the OL has to hold their block long enough, the QB has to see them and hit them with a decent pass (i.e. within two or three counties)...then and only then can they take advantage of the good route they just ran for the bazillionth time by bringing in in. And for you appologists, these are not excuses, these are facts of football, pure and freakin simple.
