I love his play selection. Most first down were passes. No more run 1st dn, run 2nd, qb scramble on 3 & 9 for incomplete.

Agreed. He called a fantastic game... Been awhile since we've seen that.

Coaching is what we needed to win games. We had the talent, but we didn't have the coaches. Now we actually have good coaches and that is why we are gonna be an improved team.

Best play calling I've seen in 10 years for the fins. Loved the motions, mis directions, and crossing patterns!

And look what happened to the Vikings without him...

Agreed. A lot of great calls at the perfect time. Once Ronnie gets his speed, we'll be moving more consistently.

This was the best part of the game for me today, I loved the calls, especially that bomb to Booker right after Denver scored, that's putting a team in the hole just when they think they might have a chance, Lineman sticks a spear in their hearts...Love it.

Brilliant game calling....

It's obvious why Linehan liked Frerotte so much. Looks like we've got an offense on our hands. Let's just hope we can maintain it throughout the season. The addition of Linehan was HUGE though. I love the way he attacks defenses.,,,,

PHINZ RULE!!!!

did you listen to gus' post game interview? he said the defense gave him the right look so he took it...yeeeaaaaa !

the two 4th and 1 plays he called tho were not very good and made no sense..he should have just run straight up the gut

I agree, and the one Gus threw in the dirt, could have been costly, but overall I thought he did a solid job..

agreed, but that might be it for me insofar as a questionable call.

no doubt...they played with what the defense gave them..it was good to see lots of slants when the CBs were playing far off the WRs
