Everyone that has ever met him says he is really really great guy. He just has a problem where he blows his head easy, he needs some help but he isnt a bad person.

When good people go bad right?
People make mistakes. Nice people do idiotic things. It happens.
It's not a defense or anything, he needs to be punished and learn his lesson and I'm getting fed up with the way he acts as well as everyone else. However off the field and sober he is a really great guy by all accounts.

glad he didn't hurt anyone, hopefully he will get the help he needs, and the memory of the tazer plus the bruises he got (deservedly so apparently) will be the lesson he needs to push him that direction.
Drinking can do alot to someone just ask the countless players that get in trouble for this all the time. Some ppl to need to be more responsible tho

Maybe the Marlins could trade Olsen to the Devil Rays for Dukes? Both get rid of their head case/problem and both fit the needs of the club Marlins need a CFer and TB needs about 10 new pitchers. Although the Marlins might have a bigger problem on their hands with Dukes.

Well Olsen is clearly gone after the season, the Marlins don't want to deal with him anymore. Obviously the DRays want Dukes gone. At first I was kidding around with this trade but the more I think about it, it makes tons of sense for these teams to make that trade. The Marlins need a CFer bad and Rays need pitching.
Of course Dukes is a much bigger problem than Olsen, so I'm not sure if the Marlins would want to deal with him. Both guys clearly need a change of teams and this could be a win/win for both teams.
