He just updated it yesterday. He has us taking Devante Parker round 1 and Tre Jackson round 2... I'd be absolutely thrilled with that draft.
Thoughts?

Unless we go to a power scheme on the O-line, no to Tre Jackson.

I would love this draft. I like Scott Wright more than any other draft analyst around. He seems to be the most accurate in mock drafts, at least for the Dolphins picks anyways.

i have a 3rd round grade on tre jackson cause he's got some pop to him and some finish and shows good awareness but he's not athletic enough for our scheme...i do think he's gone by end of day 2 though...should be a power scheme team best fit...right guard in a power scheme

I think it's just another example of how little research these guys do into the schemes and whatnot each team runs. They probably know the obvious stuff, but not so much the details, focusing instead on scouting the players. I can only imagine the number of angry emails he gets from fans of each team every time he puts out one of these mocks (same for every other such website).

He looks over weight to me, but not incapable of playing with more athleticism than he shows in his current body condition, imo. I wouldn't say he's strictly a power fit, but at pick 47 I wouldn't be taking him as a project player for an eventual ZBS fit. I might in the 4th round.

i guess that overweight thing is possible looks a little fleshy but he looks like a fire hydrant to me...stocky and thick power plug...he drops people flat on their ass on contact at times...one of the few guards where i see that...and he'll finish you on the ground too...got some edge

anyways tanneballs made a good point about how we want more pop on the inside at guard especially in our division more anchor and pop in the hands to handle those murderous dts we face etc maybe we have to sacrifice some of the lateral athlete at guard to find it...i know i'm tired of our guards making it a pillow fight...damn tired of it...

and if that's the case and miami wants to get more stout on the inside a laken tomlinson who can anchor with the best of them and also shows solid drive block abilities would have to be very high on miamis board...even if everything about it says power kick slide wise in pass pro and he's best as a run blocker straight ahead...i don't know tough call...but i do know we got soft enough tackles we can't also have a soft interior

One thing is becoming increasingly apparent in these mocks...according to these experts, the moment Devante Parker gets drafted ahead of us is the moment our draft turns into a pile of manure.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Yup, we are right in the fringe where the prospects we'd be interested in would be out and we'd either reach for a position of need or pick a player in a position that doesn't seem very good value, such as RB, DT or SS. We'll hold out to see who drops to our spot and if no one we are interested in drops watch out for DT or a trade down. DT holds the best value in this draft.

Just gotta hope the Rams go OL, the Vikings decide that they're set at wide receiver w Charles Johnson and Wallace, and the Browns go defense and decide to address receiver at #19... Hell, I wouldn't put it past the Saints to take him.
I'd put the chances at about 25% that he gets to us at this point.
