Scouts have harsh criticism for Quinn

Pretty much what I was thinking. These scouts could be right, or the ones who say Quinn is the real deal could be right. None of us know, and neither do they. We'll find out soon enough though.

True!!! You never know, all you can go on is ability, everyone has different opinions, heck even coaches and scouts with the same team usually don't agree. Who are we to judge. But I do feel that saying he will be a bust this early on, with what he has done, and his overall abilities is saying a bit much!!

Please, please, please lord. Let the Brady Quinn talk stop. The guy folds like paper when under pressure. We don't need a pretty boy/panzy, we need a REAL leader with some toughness.

Your knocking Brady Quinn, yet you have a Draft SYVELLE NEWTON Signiture?

Isn't the guy like 5'11 or something, No thank you I would rather have a player with Quinn's talent over Newton.

To say Quinn doesnt have toughness is basically to admit that you never watched him play.

don't want a QB who chokes in big games. Therefore I don't want Quinn!!!!

The same thing was siad about Manning. Brees was criticised so was Rivers. Montana was criticized, so was Marino.

The list goes on. at least you have some arguement against Quinn alot of people here just knock him and run.

I garantee that Brady Quinn will have a better career in the NFL than Jamarcus Russel and Vince Young!

I just watched Path To The Draft on NFL network and Mike Mayock said he watched hours and hours of coaches film on both the top 2 QBs and he said the only knock on Brady Quinn is sometimes accuracy and knowing when to deliver the ball. He said his arm strength was fine and that he has, at this point, a better work ethic than Russell, but Russell is the guy with an arm Mayock's never seen at the college level but his problems are work ethic, and also knowing when to deliver the ball and accuracy.

So if either of these guys, I'd prefer Quinn, falls to us there should be no question that we select him. And as for the article which compared Quinn to Harrington, Mayock compared Quinn to Brady (EDIT: that's Tom Brady). So take what these guys say with a grain of salt...But I would love to have Brady Quinn on the Dolphins team as Franchise QB of the Future. Hell if Daunte does no better and Lemon/Harrington don't jump out, Brady could be our QB of 2007. Mayock did say he is the most NFL-ready QB in the draft by far and he's already played in a pro-style offense.

Man it would have been interesting if Finheaven existed when Marino was drafted. All the bad press he was getting at the time and the fact he fell all the way to the 27th pick. I can imagine some of the comments that would have been made on here.
Quinn has good statistics, low interception numbers and good completion percentages and he has a very good QB rating. Football is a team game and because ND lost some big games you can't put all the blame on the QB. Jay Cutler lost some big games at Vandy so should he be labeled a bust and he folds like paper, etc, etc.

I would even trade up to grab Brady Quinn. We need a Franchise QB of the Future. Everyone knows it and everyone posts it and this is our chance to get one.

hmmm, why the comparison to 2 black QB's?

I can "guarantee" that you know even less about who will succeed than you do about spelling

They'd probably find some way to slam Marino and wish we'd have drafted a RB like Johnny Hector. Maybe that he was a pothead or all the scouts were down on him or he never won the big game, etc.
