"Perhaps the draft's biggest freefall finally came to an end when the Dolphins used the 18th pick of the seventh round (No. 226) on Texas DT Rodrique Wright. There was pre-draft speculation that Wright would slide due to his inconsistent effort and failed expectations. Poor technique and the absence of a "mean streak" also hurt Wright's draft stock. However, Wright has entirely too much natural talent to slip this far. After all, he notched 227 total tackles, 42 tackles for loss and 17.5 sacks during his four-year career at Texas. While there would seem to be an off-the-field concern or injury report that contributed to his enormous freefall, we have not received any such information at this point."
